🌞By Oavo — the cheeky window cleaner

Hi Wirral Community, this will be the first of my daily blogs and it’s quite a good one to start on based from firsthand face-to-face feedback
🎯 Acting on Instinct
This morning I never knew Hulk and Thor from Wickes would be on my horizon, also a memorable meeting with Relieman from B+M that I will never forget.
This way, I get to act on instinct and spontaneity, which I feel brings the best out in me so I don’t have to dwell on a meeting.
I knew after making the first page about the managers that I would have to see the Honorable Wirral Managers again — even if it was to cheekily ask for more flowers.
But today my first line to the Trio from Rock Ferry Rio was:
“I am not asking for flowers today, don’t worry ha”.

🤝 Meeting Relieman
My first meeting of the day was with Relieman from B+M, and today he stood up to his nickname tenfold — I knew he could be a person to really rely on : )
I understand that any single manager in any single establishment is a very busy person. I had to learn and accept this over the last 2 years! It’s been hard because I know the amazing story we can generate together!

⏳ How Busy They Really Are
But after seeing a manager’s face for 2 summers, I’ve now seen how hard they are worked and how much little spare time they have on a daily shift — not to mention the ways of life. Not everyone can have a smile on their face every day ’cause of that underrated thing called life!
And then there’s oavo who pops in one day acting the way I do and showing every manager the same image of me : )

👕 Appearance & Judgement
All 3 managers have in abundance a certain skill where they will not judge me on first appearance.
I will talk about this now and again but I have been testing this for a long time — Judgement on appearance — this is not fair! It’s a human flaw! “A glitch”!
So that’s why I wear the same clothes all the time. I have lots of first-time appearances over the last 2 years, and I like to see the judgement on appearance because this can show you a lot about a person — sometimes when it’s blatant : (

🎶 Finding Common Ground
With Relieman, he never judged me once on appearance. I really did see commonality with Relieman and today he told me how he used to listen to the same music I did in the 90’s, and we reminisced about it. I knew we was alike : )
He was absolutely outstanding today as a manager/Representative of B+M. I will do my best to get this blog seen by the regionals one day.

🔍 The Search Query
The thing that stuck out to me was a bit selfish, but it was only given to me by how amazing Relieman is : )
I went into the B+M shop today and got to speak to Relieman straight away. I told him how I had wrote the Wirral Managers story and gave him a section in it because of how he helped the Rock Ferry Community with half-price flowers — and basically ’cause he is amazing.
That’s when I told him a search query on Google to search for the article about him — this way he gets a little security, as he would get a list of results to do with the query, and normally the number 1 spot on Google is trusted by Google. This is a good start on your security regarding website links.
If you do not use a search engine and only use a link, then you will go straight to the website with a possible 0% security.
The search query I gave him was:
“oavo wirral” — He typed it into Google search engine, then he found his blog and he started to read it.

👀 Watching Him Read
This is where my selfish side kicked in, and it was hard to hold back at times.
It’s sometimes respectful to look at someone when talking to them, but to stare and look at them while not talking is often seen as being rude — and some will take high offence by this and confront you about staring, but I couldn’t help it!
I never knew Relieman would have enough time to read the story, but he read it for many minutes and I had to stare at him sometimes to see his reaction firsthand — about my story #AboutHim, but also about my navigation system, colors, fonts, letter sizing, gradients, design, layout and so on.
When he started laughing at my words that I wrote for him — that sealed it for me!

💰 Priceless Feedback
community members say:
“You don’t even get paid” — the feeling I had when he was reacting at my content for many minutes is priceless to me!
You give me any currency — it will never match that feeling today.
I still can’t believe it — Relieman, you literally are a star.
5 minutes of reading time is hard for us sometimes, but you took much longer and it was spung upon you hehe— it felt honorable today when I was having a cheeky stare at you reading the story about you ; )

✍️ “Don’t Change a Thing!”
After a reader finishes reading the story I made about them — I will ask the reader if they want me to change any of the words about them, or if they would like me to change the cartoon picture of them — all done face-to-face ; )
Relieman replied the best reply you can hear:
“Don’t change a thing — I love it ha”
So that’s when I suggested to him — if he would like to see something new on the page, if he has an idea in the future, it will make the page better if we both work on it.

🌿 The Plant Tease
I was on such a high when I left your presence today — Thanks again, Relieman.
When I am leaving, I can be really cheeky sometimes and I act on instinct, remember ha, so I said:
“You do know that Wickes gave me over 60 plants for free hehe”
I was just teasing here, looking for a better discount next time — but Relieman looked outside and grabbed me 2 lovely plants that were about to see the expiry date because of dryness!
It has been hot here on the Wirral of late, so between Wickes Managers = Cheeky Window Cleaner = Wirral Community, we all get to try and save these 2 beautiful plants : )

🛠️ Enter Thor & Hulk
And now, onto see the mighty Thor and the indestructible Hulk of Rock Ferry.
These 2 managers must be a great duo, ’cause they were both on shift the same time again when I entered Wickes DIY.
I was greeted by Thor and his beeping assistant!
They had to trek from the far side of the building, and his assistant very loudly let every member know:
“Beep beep” — it got closer and closer like a Carry On film ha
The assistant was a forklift with about 40 tubs of paint on.

📖 Thor Reads the Story
After Thor done the same search on Google and looked for the story about him, he thankfully done the same and gave me some precious minutes of his time and read all the words — and seen the cartoon pictures of him and the Hulk.
To my pride, he also said he would not change a word or the picture.
If Relieman made me feel on cloud 9, then I now entered cloud 14 ; )
Thank you so much for your kind response today, Thor — it means so much to me as a content creator personally.

🧍 Self-Centered but Honest
This is where it got a little selfish for me, I think?
When I was watching their reaction face-to-face, it was so self-centered — but wow, “amazing”, they loved my content : )
I pleaded with Thor:
“If you want to add anything to the page, then we can make the page better with more ideas”

😄 Hulk’s Smile
When I was leaving, that’s when I noticed Hulk on the phone — and he seen me and smiled too. I had to say one cheeky thing, sorry:
“If you want to change any words or pictures we can asap, see you soon : )”
And that’s when I marched onto Rock Ferry Flower Gardens to plant the new plants — but got carried away with a little summer clean of the area instead, and ready for planting in the morning : )

🧡 Final Thanks
Thanks 3 amazing guys for your time — but most of all, your care for the community. Our community. You have made history here for all our Wirral Community together.
In Rock Ferry I made my bold pitch,
To three local legends — no glitch.
Thor gave me a grin,
While Hulk chimed in,
And Relieman? Pure top-stitch.
I told them, “No flowers today!”
(But still hoped they’d give some away…)
With a wink and a grin,
They let me pop in,
And B&M made my whole day.
I stared while Relieman read,
With blog words I cheekily fed.
He laughed out loud,
I felt so proud,
His praise went straight to my head.
Thor’s forklift said “beep” with some sass,
Paint buckets rolled in like a brass.
I’d googled their fame,
And pointed by name,
“Top of the search — first class!”
So here’s to the trio, my mates,
Who gave plants before their due dates.
With cheek on full show,
And flowers to grow,
We’re rewriting Rock Ferry’s fates!
